At Dutch Country Furniture, our goal is to provide you with high-quality furniture that’s custom-built for your home. Since 2007, we’ve been selling backyard structures, outdoor poly furniture, and heirloom hardwood furniture that your family will love for generations to come.
Our Story
As we started Dutch Country Market in Laurel, DE, we started offering a small number of homemade goods in our parking lot. These included crafts, quilts, and lawn furniture, before expanding into playsets and gazebos – all handcrafted by members of the Amish and Mennonite communities in Lancaster County, PA. Pretty soon, the demand for these high-quality goods overwhelmed our small shed in the parking lot.
In August 2007, our 4,600 square-foot showroom was built next to the Market on Trussum Pond Road. This gave us enough space to display home furniture and décor by fine craftsmen and local Delmarva artists. Since then, we’ve created an outdoor showroom to feature our collection of sheds, gazebos, playsets, and patio furniture.
